A fantastic hybrid which displays good vigor & stays very compact, a cross between Arendsii & Chinensis. Beautiful purple, dark-rose plumes with dark green foliage. Blooms June – July.
Cultivation: Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. Prefers moist, humusy, organically rich soils. Soil must not be allowed to dry out.
Utilization: Wonderful color and vertical interest for shade gardens, woodland edges, and mixed borders. Plant in groupings along pond or stream banks. An ideal choice for planting along fences and house walls.
