A classic basil with very large, curly leaves which resemble lettuce leaves. Although it can be dried, ‘Valentino’ is at its best when fresh; a must in tomato sauces because of its wonderful aroma and powerful flavor! Also a very popular pesto basil! A tidy and compact growth habit! Great for herb gardens or adding scent to mixed combos. It should be harvested regularly to keep producing tasty leaves. Plant in full sun in with well-draining soil.
