Goldie is an old-fashioned member of the tomato family, and is also known as an heirloom husk tomato. These low growing, prolific vines are an asset to any garden, and their golden/orange fruit are excellent in pies, desserts, preserves, canning, dried, etc., and can be eaten raw as well. The sweet golden fruit are about 1/2” tp 3/4” and are contained in a papery husk.
