Description

These graceful plants range from 3’ to 10’ tall, depending on the cultivar. Excellent foliage, seed heads. Particularly great for winter interest when most other plants are hiding under a blanket of snow. Clumping habit. Full sun and average soil. Late winter or early spring is the best time to cut them back. Can be late to emerge in the Spring. China. slow spreader; flowers MSU 48″H x 20″W Flame Grass. China. A strong vertical grass. Fall color is bronzy orange. Seed heads are creamy white in autumn, and they are showy as late as mid-winter.
