MISCANTHUS s. ’Zebrinus’ (Silver Grass)
These graceful plants range from 3’ to 10’ tall, depending on the cultivar. Excellent foliage, seed heads. Particularly great for winter interest when most other plants are hiding under a blanket of snow. Clumping habit. Full sun and average soil. Zebra Grass. Dynamic plant: long green leaves with wide bands of near white to golden yellow across the leaves. Leaves have a gentle arching habit. Fall blooms emerge in warm coppery-pink tones. Great for large landscaping projects. This becomes a large plant. Initial growth in Spring is solid green.
