One of the first raspberries to ripen, ‘Jewel’ is a vigorous, thorny shrub that produces large black raspberries from Spring to early Summer. A self-pollinating raspberry with excellent yields of juicy berries. Jewel the most popular black raspberry variety. The fruit is glossy black in color, a large size, and has a rich raspberry flavor. It is an excellent choice for use in pies, jams and jellies.
