Burst of Joy™  is covered in vibrant orange blooms which have a sunny yellow reverse. Even in hotter environments, the bright colors of this cheerful rose hold up really well as the flower ages. It eventually turns a pretty coral, still with that yellow reverse. The bloom shape is classic and well–formed, about 3-4” in diameter with a 25-30 petal count. You’ll get more stems with just one flower than you would on most floribundas, it’s almost like a hybrid tea flower on a compact floribunda habit. The scent is mild but very pleasant, reminiscent of a light tea rose. This rose bush is large, yet compact, ideal for landscape yet can be used in large patio pots as well (note: roses/perennials will not survive the winter in un-insulated pots). The disease resistance, though average for modern grandifloras, is pretty remarkable for one with such an exotic bloom color.
