Water Needs: Tomato plants need consistent watering in order to avoid split fruit – water whenever the soil is dry; in the full heat of summer, they will probably need water daily. Do not get the foliage wet, water from the base. We highly recommend that you put weed barrier or mulch around the base of your tomatoes (when planted in the ground) in order to avoid dirt splashing up onto the leaves, which can lead to disease.
- Stays compact and tidy, so it won’t take over like the other sprawling currants; easy to grow and earlier, too.
- Branched trusses make for accessible harvest and fruits detach without damage for more usable fruit.
- Very high yields of tiny, red fruit deliver very sweet flavor.
- Best in-ground.
- All-America Selections National Winner.
