A profusion of baby-blue flowers, with a touch of purple! A thread – leaf Amsonia with very narrow, bright green leaves in summer which gradually become a vibrant auburn in fall.  A low maintenance perennial which tolerates heat and humidity without difficulty. A cultivar of a North American Native. Deer resistant!

Cultivation: Easily grown in full sun to part shade.  Plant in average to poor quality soil with good drainage. Amsonia prefers moist, loamy soils. Tolerates some drought once established.

Utilization: An easy-to-grow variety for native plant gardens, mixed cottage gardens, open woodland areas & wild borders.
