Description
PLANT: ‘Bonfire is one of the most colorful spurges. A wonderful combination of deep purple, red, and orange leaves with a touch of chartreuse, while the undergrowth is green. Foliage deepens to a burgundy red during the height of summer then turns a rich red in the fall. Deer and Rabbit resistant.
CULTIVATION: Prefers full sun but will easily tolerate some shade. Average to poor, well-drained soil. Cut back in late summer to encourage bushiness.
UTILIZATION: Lovely in mixed mid-garden groupings, rock gardens, woodland edges. Cuts well.
