Well drained soil – does not like clayish soil
‘Georgian Fire’ is one of the most flavorful and popular garlics available, with a powerful, spicy flavor. Its bulbs are comprised of a single layer of cloves around a central stalk aka neck. The “neck’ in hardneck refers to the long flowering stem that grows upward from the bulb. All hardneck garlics have a more complex and richer flavor than most other garlics. Great for roasting, cooking and drying. The cloves are nice and plump, and the whole bulb is rapped in a white tissue-like covering. The plants are robust and very cold hardy.
