HIBISCUS x ‘Airbrush Effect’ (Rose Mallow)

$24.99

Description

These huge plants have some of the most spectacular flowers of all perennials. They bloom from the hottest part of summer well into fall with huge flowers—up to 8” wide. Many are almost clown-like,  with showy bicolor flowers.  Easy to grow, likes a damp soil. The semi-woody stems die back in winter. New shoots don’t emerge late in spring. Some people prune the shoots by a third when they are a foot tall, to sport a stockier, bushier plant. This Hardy Hibiscus looks like it has been spray painted! 8-8½”, vibrant pink flowers with salmon tones have an airbrushed central white halo and a small dark red eye. Overlapping petals create a three dimensional look to the flowers. The rich, dark green foliage forms a compact habit. Lots of flower buds translates to a long season of bloom, so you can enjoy these flowers for many weeks. Use ‘Airbrush Effect’ as a focal point in your sun garden

3.5-4’H x 4-4.5’W        8-8.5” vibrant pink with central white halo flowers. Rich, dark green leaves.
