A rival to the Goliath tomato, this 2013 tomato is a great addition to the market! At 10-15 oz. it is bigger than previous strains of Blue Ribbon and is more disease resistant as well.  It has smooth, uniform, round fruit and is a vigorous grower.  Said to be tastier than Big Beef, this tomato will not disappoint.  Best grown with supports or a cage, prune away low hanging branches to reduce disease. Tomatoes have high water needs and should be watered regularly and mulched with weed barrier or wood chips to retain moisture. Fertilize heavily once fruit production begins to ensure the best harvest!
