A delicious heirloom tomato from the late 1800s, Brandywine is a classic with sweet, slightly tart, ‘tomato-y’ flavour! Fruits are large, meaty, juicy and pinkish-colored. This heirloom tomato has the smooth and oval potato style leaves.  Best grown with supports or a cage, prune away low hanging branches to reduce disease. Tomatoes have high water needs and should be watered regularly and mulched with weed barrier or wood chips to retain moisture. Fertilize heavily once fruit production begins to ensure the best harvest!
