Water Needs: Tomato plants need consistent watering in order to avoid split fruit – water whenever the soil is dry; in the full heat of summer, they will probably need water daily. Fertilize with Tomato Food every two weeks for best results. Do not get the foliage wet, water from the base. We highly recommend that you put weed barrier or mulch around the base of your tomatoes (when planted in the ground) in order to avoid dirt splashing up onto the leaves, which can lead to disease.

General Info: ‘Buffalosun’ is a large, beautiful, pleated tomato (4” in diameter) with sunset-colored skin and meat. This unique tomato is a great performer and has excellent quality fruit that will not disappoint you. The flavor is sweet, and the texture is smooth. The plants are robust and big producers, with good disease resistance.  This variety is a great slicing tomato, and is also great in salads, salsas, and cooking.
