Type: Novelty

Indeterminate

Exposure: Full Sun

Water Needs: Tomato plants need consistent watering in order to avoid split fruit – water whenever the soil is dry; in the full heat of summer, they will probably need water daily. Fertilize with Tomato Food every two weeks for best results. Do not get the foliage wet, water from the base. We highly recommend that you put weed barrier or mulch around the base of your tomatoes (when planted in the ground) in order to avoid dirt splashing up onto the leaves, which can lead to disease.

General Info: ‘Wapsipinicon Peach’ produces an abundance of round, 2” tomatoes which are a pale yellow color, and are slightly fuzzy,  hence the peach in their name. They have a sweet, well-balanced flavor and are juicy. The plants are heavy producers and are robust.  It gets its name from the Wapsipinicon River in northeast Iowa.
