Description
An easily grown plant from the Caucasus Mountains. It has plenty of small, pure blue flowers, beginning in mid-spring and continuing well into June, all the while displaying its large, heart-shaped leaves. Reseeds in some gardens. Brunnera prefer a rich soil and an evenly moist, almost damp location. Slug resistant. blue MSP-MSU 10-14”H x 20-24”W
Large (7-8”) heart shaped silver leaves pop out in the shady parts of the garden. Tiny, baby blue, forget-me-not flowers form from mid to late spring. Great for borders or containers. Performs best in full shade. Commonly called Heartleaf Brunnera.
