Description

PLANT:  Large raspberry-pink flowers are long lasting and appear earlier than others.  This plant has upright foliage and a compact sturdy habit. Valued for it’s long bloom time. 

 CULTIVATION: Will grow in almost any soil, but prefers full to part sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Drought and heat tolerant. Deadhead to prolong flowering time. Leave some flowers up over winter to provide food for finches and other birds.

UTILIZATION: Great for sunny bed, prairie garden or wildflower meadow. Cuts well.

Origin:     hybrid – species native to N America
